The single best thing you can do right now is send us photos of your windows. With a few good pictures, we can often give you a ballpark estimate the same day — sometimes within an hour — without waiting for an in-person visit.

What to Photograph
The whole window from inside — step back about 6 feet so we see the full frame, sashes, and surrounding wall.
The whole window from outside — same idea, full view including the exterior trim and sill.
Close-ups of any damage you're concerned about:
Rotten or soft wood (especially on sills and lower sash rails)
Cracked or missing glazing putty
Broken or fogged glass
Peeling paint
Anywhere you see daylight, drafts, or water damage
A close-up of the latch or lock area — this tells us a lot about the window's age and mechanism.
If the window won't open or close, a photo or short video showing the problem.
Don't worry about photo quality — your phone camera is fine. Natural daylight works best. Five to ten photos is usually plenty.
