We're Now a Member of the Window Preservation Alliance
We're proud to share that Whole Window is now a member of the Window Preservation Alliance (WPA), a national community of craftspeople and companies dedicated to saving and restoring original wood windows.
The WPA exists to promote one simple idea: old wood windows are worth saving. Built from dense, old-growth lumber, original double-hung windows were designed to be repaired and can last another century when properly maintained. Replacement is rarely necessary, and it throws away the character, craftsmanship, and materials that make an older home special.
What membership means for you
Joining the WPA reflects the way we already work every day. It's a commitment to proper, historically sensitive repair over replacement, and to the standards that keep original windows performing for generations. For Greater Boston homeowners, that means:
